LiveEasy, a leading home management platform, sought a comprehensive overhaul of its Home Valuation feature. Formerly known as MoveEasy, the platform streamlines homeownership and moving for millions of users across the U.S. The project involved a complete design revamp and integration of advanced mortgage and property valuation tools, aimed at providing users with an intuitive and streamlined way to assess their home’s worth and explore mortgage options. The enhanced feature is now a key tool for homeowners looking to optimize their property’s value with ease.

Action Plan

Initiated the project with a kickoff call, followed by in-depth code reviews and design discussions to understand the existing codebase and new design elements.

Design and Feature Development:

Figma to Development: Converted the updated Figma designs into fully functional, responsive pages with new components like modals and tabs.
Feature Enhancements: Integrated advanced mortgage calculators, a pricing slider, and home valuation features. Collaborated with the tech team to ensure seamless functionality of these new features.
Code Optimization: Conducted a full code overhaul to rewrite outdated components and ensured a smooth integration of the new design.
API Integration: Incorporated API connections to deliver real-time mortgage and valuation data.
Custom Code Solutions: Migrated some features from npm packages to custom solutions to enhance performance and resolve existing bugs.


Final Delivery: Optimized the codebase, audited for issues, and conducted rigorous bug fixes to ensure the delivery of a high-quality, bug-free product.
